 Listener Reviews
Thank You for the opportunity to review this great cd. I enjoyed it in it's entirety. Allan did a fantastic job with the flow of this one. It's a pick me up with a retro feel to it. It takes me back to a time in my life when this country was thriving and people were happy.
It is difficult to pick a favorite. I love the Stevie Wonder feel of "Never loved before" with Martina McBride. "This Time" tugged at my heart strings though, as did "Right where I want you. Finally, "If you want to make me happy" personally struck a nerve for me.  Again I enjoyed reviewing and hope to hear all these songs on my favorite Country station WYRK

I have to tell you I was a little disappointed with the Trisha Yearwood CD. I think the best song on the CD is track 1 - Heaven, Heartache, and the Power of Love. I listened to the CD at least three times and still didn't like any of the other songs.

Have a great day! Laurie

Josh, thanks for giving me the opportunity to review Josh Turners new CD "Everything is Fine"! I just finished listening to it and loved every minute of it. From the Fun side of Firecracker and Trailerhood to the sad side of The longer the Waiting the Sweeter The Kiss and Another Try. I thought I had a favorite with Firecracker but Soulmate's sound and lyrics are making my decision difficult. It's nice how he touches traditional family values and Christianity. I look forward to listening to "Everything is Fine" a zillion more times!

Just let me begin by saying anything this man sings sounds like heaven. I've already listened to this cd 3 times. I LOVE IT!!!!! There's not a song on it that I don't like. All the songs grab you in a different way. It's not like some cd's that have the same beat and every song sounds the same. Some of my top favorites are ,of course, Firecracker, Trailerhood, One Woman Man, The Way He Was Raised and South Carolina Low Country. All I can say about this CD is EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for letting me be one of the first to listen to it.

Thank you so much for letting me review Carrie Underwood’s new CD Carnival Ride. I am a huge Carrie fan. This is a great CD from start to finish. Carrie really delivers with her sophomore album. There is a great mix of slow and upbeat songs. My favorites include: All-American Girl, So Small (of course), Get out of This Town, Last Name and The More Boys I Meet. Each song on the CD tells a great story. I really liked that she co-wrote 4 of the songs (All-American Girl, So Small, Crazy Dreams, and Last Name). Songs that are written or co-written by the artist have a different feel. These are songs that you know the artist can relate to. I have been waiting to get this CD since I heard when it was going to be released and Carrie did not disappoint. This is a CD that everyone can enjoy.

I loved "Carnival Ride". On Carrie's album she seems to have captured so many of today's true live experiences of this 'Carnival Ride' which we are all in this life. I really think she has done a wonderful job and will go far in her singing career. Keep on singing Carrie!

Thanks WYRK, for both this great opportunity and CD. It was my pleasure to listen and review.

LeAnn Rimes cd "Family " is great, starts with bayou sounds. Then Some very danceable music in the middle, and the three duets are excellent.
Bon Jovi duet should cross over as top 10 on both charts

Thank you guys for the cd.
Brooks and Dunn latest is a solid one. Usually on a cd I'll skip one or two songs as soon as the song starts. But I listened to this straight through. It is a perfect blend to get you going in the morning and a couple slow ones to make it interesting. I appreciate that they consistently include a couple of songs with a message to them. It's amazing that as long as these guys have been doing this they maintain their own sound, yet manage to be original enough so that you don't feel like you've heard it all before. They also stay true, to what I feel is a country-sound, for lack of a better term. This industry seems to be getting a little too 'pop' oriented. This cd however is highly recommended.

Well I did it ! I must have listened to "Cowboy Town" at least 15 times over the weekend. I wasn’t really impressed with it the first time through, it sounded very “cookie cutter” Brooks and Dunn. After I listened to each song closely I found the album to be very traditional Brooks and Dunn. I really enjoyed the album overall. My favorite picks would have to be in this order: Cowgirls Don’t Cry( It made me cry), Proud of the House We Built (it reminds me of my parents, they’ll be married 46 years in November), Tequila, (even though it won’t be a #1) Johnny Cash Junkie and I thought the remake of Drop in the Bucket was cool. Well all in all I really enjoyed doing your job for you and if you ever need me to review again just drop me a note.
